Safeguarding Adults Week is a national week of activity to raise awareness of the importance of protecting adults with care and support needs from abuse and neglect.

This week, we aim to support Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board in raising awareness within local communities and the public.

All agencies in Newcastle work together to protect adults from abuse. If you want to tell somebody that you trust, like a GP, nurse, police officer or care worker then they will pass on your concerns.
